Head forward posture over time. Looking at your cell phone, computer, food, etc.
Those are examples of head forward posture.
First you need to sit tall. When you sit tall, your head automatically comes back over your shoulders.When you slouch your head goes forward, putting more weight on you shoulders. For every inch your head moves forward of your mid-line it doubles the weight of your head on your shoulders.
Next, is Neck retraction, that’s when you push your head straight back into your headrest.
Third, Shoulder retraction is when you squeeze your shoulder blades together.
The final activity is raising both of your your shoulders up towards your ears, hold it for a couple of seconds, relax.
