How Much Does a Chiropractor Cost in Libertyville, IL?

No surprises. No long-term contracts. No pressure to sign up for months of care.

At Community Chiropractic Care in Libertyville, we keep chiropractic care simple. You’ll know what your visit costs, what it includes, and what your options are before moving forward.

Simple, Straightforward Chiropractic Pricing

First Visit — $97

Your first visit includes your consultation, examination, report of findings, and, when appropriate, your first chiropractic adjustment. You’ll also leave with three specific things you can do at home to continue healing beyond your visit.

Follow-Up Visits — $63

We take care one visit at a time. You don’t have to purchase a long-term treatment package or commit to months of care.

These time-of-service fees are designed for people without insurance, people with high deductibles who may only need a few visits, and people who simply prefer to pay directly and save money.

What If I Have Health Insurance?

Yes, we work with insurance. Dr. Steve Segal is a Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO provider, and our office can file claims with insurance companies.

Insurance fees are different from our time-of-service fees because insurance claims must be billed according to the requirements of your insurance plan.

If you have a high deductible, it may make more sense to use our time-of-service option, particularly if you only expect to need a few visits. We can help you understand your options before you begin care.

Do You See Medicare Patients?

Yes. Dr. Steve Segal is a non-participating Medicare provider.

Medicare patients pay for their visit at the time of service. Our office files the Medicare claim for you, and any Medicare reimbursement is sent directly to you.

We’ll explain the process and your costs before care so you know what to expect.

Do I Have to Sign Up for a Long Chiropractic Treatment Plan?

No. At Community Chiropractic Care, you do not have to sign up for a long-term treatment plan or purchase a package of visits.

Dr. Steve Segal takes care of patients one visit at a time. After your visit, you’ll be given specific things to do at home to help continue the progress you made in the office.

Then, give it a couple of days, see how you’re doing, and text us when you feel you need your next visit.

Some people may need only a few visits. Others may choose to come in periodically. Your care is based on how you’re doing—not on a predetermined number of appointments.

Will I Be Adjusted on My First Visit?

Usually, yes. Your first visit includes a consultation and examination so Dr. Steve can determine what is going on and whether chiropractic care is appropriate for you.

If it is appropriate and safe to proceed, your first chiropractic adjustment is usually performed during that same visit.

You’ll also be shown three specific things to do at home to help continue the healing process after you leave the office.

Our goal is simple: start helping you on your first visit whenever appropriate—not make you come back for a second appointment just to begin care.

How Long Does a Chiropractic Visit Take?

Your first visit usually takes about 45–60 minutes. This gives Dr. Steve time to talk with you, review your history, examine you, explain what he finds, and, when appropriate, provide your first adjustment.

Follow-up visits are usually much shorter—about 15–20 minutes.

We don’t want to rush your care, but we also don’t want chiropractic appointments taking over your day. Each visit is focused on what you need that day.

What Should I Bring to My First Chiropractic Visit?

You don’t need to do anything complicated to prepare. If possible, bring:

• Your insurance card, if you plan to use insurance
• Any recent X-rays, MRI reports, or other relevant medical information you already have
• A list of medications or important health history, if applicable
• The shoes you wear most often

Why the shoes? Dr. Steve’s examination doesn’t begin only where you hurt. He looks at you from the feet up, and the wear patterns on your shoes can provide useful information about how you stand, walk, and move.

Most importantly, come prepared to explain what is bothering you, when it started, and what you would like to be able to do comfortably again.

Who Is Our $97 Chiropractic First Visit For?

Our $97 time-of-service first visit may be a good choice if you:

• Don’t have chiropractic insurance coverage
• Have a high insurance deductible and expect you may only need a few visits
• Prefer to pay directly rather than use insurance
• Want to know your cost before your visit
• Don’t want to commit to a long-term treatment plan

The $97 first visit includes your consultation, examination, report of findings, first adjustment when appropriate, and three things you can do at home to continue healing beyond the visit.

Not sure whether using insurance or the time-of-service option makes more sense? Contact our Libertyville office and we’ll help you understand your options before scheduling.

Follow-up visits are $63.
